Great Day Off

These beauts are my new shoes. The wife and I voted this morning on an economic stimulus bill for the South Tulsa/Jenks district and approved a good amount of funds for the Shoe Carnival on South Deleware next to Radio Shack and the Dollar Tree.
We originally went in to get my daughter some new shoes. Because, at this age, she’s growing like a weed. And, she’s out of things just about the time she’s into them. But, Daddy hasn’t had new shoes in over 2 years and a 45% discount on $100 shoes that feel like they were made by a group of angelic elves in Heaven – slash – The North Pole just for your feet isn’t something you pass by. So, we did it. We made a great buy. So, while they’re not the Steve Madden’s I had on my Wish List, they’re right up there next to them in style and comfort. So… Not too bad of a birthday gift. Oh, and we ate at Red Robin for lunch. Great Day… Great Day, indeed.
